Final Sail: The Exciting Conclusion to the “Quest for the Crest”

Final Sail

The final leg of the “Quest for the Crest” is here, April 25-30 marks the dates of the Final Sail. Key West is the perfect venue for this ‘grand finale’ and the Westin Key West Resort & Marina will fill up with fishermen and fans as they play host to the event. In addition to the fierce competition participants in the Final Sail are looking forward to the famous parties, including a pub crawl on Duval Street on the eve of a lay day from fishing during the tournament. If you aren’t registered yet, its not too late! And if you only fish one tournament in the series, this is the one!

The format for all of the “Quest” tournaments are similar, and simple, but the Final Sail adds a fun twist to the event. In addition to the big-money and bragging rights at stake for the teams that release the most sailfish in the Final Sail, and for the team that claims victory for the series and dons the champions jackets, The Final Sail is also the ‘final sail’ of the season for many boats. So to celebrate the end of the season, the confirmation # for each team’s final sailfish release in the tournament will be recorded and entered into a drawing where teams will have the chance to win cash and prizes!

Who will win the burgundy jackets? Who will be recognized as the top sailfishing team in the world……come to Key West and find out! Here is how the tournament stand now after Leg 3, The Sailfish Challenge:
