When we were asked if we wanted to sponsor a couple of teams in The Poor Girls Open we jumped at the chance! The Poor Girls Open is a ladies only billfish release tournament benefiting breast cancer research and was started by Captain Steve Harman as a way for local Ocean City waitresses and bartenders to have an affordable and fun competition while raising money for a very important cause. The tournament grows every year and 22 years later The Poor Girls Open now boasts 100 entires.
We sponsored the teams that fished with Captain Kyle Peet on No Quarter and with Captain Allen Carter on the I CAR TER. The ladies, captains and crews all had a blast and helped raise money for a great cause. Thanks to everyone for helping us to save boobies one fish at a time!
