Mercury Marine Introduces Active Trim

Fuel savings and boat handling were the inspiration behind an automatic trimming function for Mercury outboard engines. Next year will mark the launch of Active Trim, backed by a proven company test record of savings between 14- to 54-percent in fuel costs on a whole host of boating platforms. Utilizing a patented GPS control method, Active Trim will make note of speed and RPMs to control trimming when engaged.
