2015 Big Fish Classic Recap

The 2015 Big Fish Classic is in the record books.  This years tournament saw the field and prize money more than double from last year with 47 boats chasing $202,000 in prize money. The weather was great, the crowds had a blast and some amazing fish made it to the scales.  Top prize went to the crew of Pumpin’ Hard for their 276lb big eye tuna.  The boat and crew took home over $95,000 in cash for their efforts.

A number of Fin & Field partner boats made it to the scales including Foolish PleasuresRhonda’s Osprey, Rebel and Sea Note with the latter two taking home prize money.

The Fin & Field crew had a great time supporting our partners, making new friends and interacting with the crowd.  We want to say thank you to tournament director Brian Roberts and his crew along with a special thanks to the Lewis family and M.R. Ducks for putting on the event.  We can’t wait for next year!

Here’s a little flavor of the tournament from each days weigh-in.
